Construction Project Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to join our team and drive the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. Duties

• Review, and manage detailed construction schedules ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and workflow throughout all phases of construction.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of construction estimates and budgets utilizing tools like Building Connected and Excel data analysis for accurate cost control.
• Monitor progress on-site by reviewing construction plans, conducting site inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Manage contract documentation, change orders, and procurement processes through project management software such as ProCore or Construction management software platforms.
• Assist in project planning by developing scope of work, resource allocation plans, and schedule updates to optimize productivity.
• Analyze project data regularly to identify potential delays or cost overruns; implement corrective actions promptly to keep projects on track.
• Support project management efforts by preparing reports on project status, cost management metrics, and scheduling updates for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site management with a strong understanding of civil engineering project management software or similar tools.
• Demonstrated proficiency in construction estimating, cost management, and scheduling software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Solid background in construction industry practices with hands-on experience managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to project scheduling and cost control.
• Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities; ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with construction plans, contracts, safety regulations, and quality assurance procedures.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating between teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
