The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer who wants a real career in construction management, not just a job. You will work alongside our superintendents, project managers, and senior project engineers on live projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will see how a project is run and be given responsibility early.

Experience level

• 1-3 years

What You'll Do

• Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, and shop drawing reviews
• Assemble pay applications, including G702/G703 forms and subcontractor backup
• Help manage change orders, cost tracking, and project budgets
• Review plans and specifications and flag coordination issues before they reach the field
• Keep project schedules, meeting minutes, daily reports, and logs current
• Coordinate with subcontractors, design teams, and owner representatives
• Support project closeout, including warranties, O&M manuals, and as-builts

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree / Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Internship or co-op experience in construction preferred; recent graduates welcome
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar tools is a plus
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
• Willingness to learn in the field and in the office
• Valid driver's license
• Clean background

Where This Role Can Take You

This position is built as a path to Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and beyond. You will be mentored by experienced project leaders and exposed to GMP and CM-at-risk delivery on public-sector work.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
