Construction Project Logistic Staff

About the Role

As a Logistic Staff at PT Ellipse Projects Indonesia, you will be responsible for supporting material and equipment planning, delivery coordination, inventory control, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The role will involve coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, project teams, and clients to ensure timely delivery, accurate shipment tracking, proper documentation, and smooth logistics operations in compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

Scope of Work

This position primarily responsible in supporting:

• Material and equipment planning and control
• Material and equipment delivery planning and control
• Inventory control
• Material and inventory documentation

Job Descriptions

1.      Prepare material and equipment plans for assigned projects.

2.      Prepare the shipping documents, bills of lading, customs documentations, and other required documents to ensure compliance with applicable local and international regulations.

3.      Prepare and arrange transportation and other requirements related to the delivery of materials and equipment.

4.      Assist the Project Manager and Contract Management Team with contract requirements and negotiations related to material and equipment deliveries.

5.      Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, project teams, freight forwarder, and customer/ client to ensure effective flow and timely delivery of materials and equipment.

6.      Manage and maintain accurate shipment tracking and inventory records.

7.      Provide solutions and decisions for day-to-day issues or disruptions related to supply chain and logistic operations.

8.      Ensure complete and accurate documentation regarding the material and equipment planning, shipments, deliveries, and inventory.

9.      Prepare periodic report on project progress, material and equipment deliveries, shipment status, and inventory levels.

Qualifications

1.      Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics Management, or a related study.

2.      Min. 5 years’ experience in construction logistic. Experience in hospital or healthcare facilities construction will be an advantage.

3.      Fluent in English (written & spoken).

4.      Professional in communication and behaviour with a responsible, reliable, and collaborative working attitude.

5.      Required knowledge, skills, and experience:

a.      Understanding of applicable customs, logistic, and transportation regulations.

b.      Up-to-date knowledge of customs, logistics, and transportation requirements as well as related compliance issues.

c.      Familiarity with integrated supply chain processes, procedures, and workflows.

d.      Experience supporting multiple projects or working in a head office/project coordination role is highly preferred.

e.      Proficient in Ms. Office and project management tools.

f.       Strong communication, time management, negotiation, and decision making skills.
