Project Manager – New Construction
Location: Mid-Wilshire, CA
Primary Project Area: Pacific Palisades/Brentwood
Pay: $80,000–$100,000 per year
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About Us

South Coast Construction and Development is a growing construction company specializing in high-quality new construction projects throughout the Los Angeles area. We are seeking a reliable, experienced Project Manager to oversee day-to-day field operations, inspections, subcontractors, and job-site coordination.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will lead new construction projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and according to plans and building codes. This role requires strong field experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple teams and tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations on new construction job sites
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades
• Schedule and attend inspections
• Review and interpret architectural and structural blueprints
• Ensure compliance with all building codes and safety requirements
• Communicate with office staff, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Monitor project timelines and budgets
• Maintain a safe and organized job site
• Understand and identify structural components such as hold-downs

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction (required)
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, building codes, and new-construction processes
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and plans
• Experience managing subcontractors and inspections
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation — must have a car
• Ability to be on-site daily in Pacific Palisades
• Working with Buildertrend software is a plus

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year (depending on experience)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
