Construction Project Manager and Business Development

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Construction Project Manager and Business Development professional to expand our market presence. Duties

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale infrastructure and commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff, fostering collaboration and accountability throughout project lifecycle.
• Develop detailed project schedules ,coordinate construction schedules with design teams and clients.
• Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Prepare and review construction plans, schematics, contracts, and cost estimates utilizing tools like ProCore, Jobtread, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Prolog, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Monitor project budgets closely; implement cost management strategies to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
• Identify new business opportunities through networking, proposal development, and client relationship management; lead business development efforts to secure new projects.
• Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements related to construction laws and industry standards; maintain thorough documentation for audits and inspections.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects with a strong understanding of construction regulations and safety standards.
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Jobtread, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or Primavera P3, Prolog, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other project scheduling tools.
• Demonstrated ability in construction estimating, budget management, project scheduling, and contract administration.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams on active construction sites; excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and schematics; understanding of construction plans for large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ability to develop strategic business plans; experience in client outreach and proposal development for business growth.
• Valid experience in commercial construction experience is a plus.
