Construction Project Manager - Civil

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a background in Civil Engineering or Architecture to lead the design and construction management of real estate and retail projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Design & Technical Leadership

• Lead and oversee architectural design for real estate and retail developments (shopping centers, mixed-use projects, commercial spaces, and factories).
• Integrate and coordinate architecture, interior design, and MEP works throughout all project phases.
• Review design proposals, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with business objectives and local regulations.
• Provide design guidance and technical solutions aligned with corporate standards, brand identity, and operational requirements.

2. Project & Construction Management

• Manage the full project lifecycle from concept design to handover.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.
• Oversee construction schedules, budgets, and quality control; track progress and resolve on-site issues.
• Conduct site inspections, technical assessments, and design reviews to ensure accuracy and buildability.
• Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Manage procurement, tendering, and contract administration processes.

3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including leasing, operations, marketing, and finance.
• Act as the key liaison between internal management and external stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (professional license preferred).
• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or project lead role.
• Proven track record in retail, commercial, or mixed-use real estate projects.
• Strong understanding of interior design, MEP systems, and construction management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, or similar project management tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English with the ability to work in a global and cross-cultural environment.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese is an added advantage.
