Position Overview

Kingfisher Recruiting has partnered with a local construction company to find an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential/commercial/multi-family new construction and remodeling projects. This role is responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating subcontractors and crews, maintaining strong client communication, and ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on construction knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through final completion
• Conduct pre-installation inspections and verify project readiness
• Coordinate schedules with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, materials, and labor resources
• Ensure workmanship meets company standards and customer expectations
• Communicate project updates, timelines, and issue resolution with clients
• Perform site visits and quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction
• Identify and resolve project challenges proactively and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company procedures
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and job records
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial or residential or multi-family ground-up construction project management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential or commercial construction practices
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficient with project management software, scheduling tools, and mobile technology
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of commercial permitting and inspections
• Construction management or related education is a plus
