CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and oversee construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and project schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to meet timelines and project objectives.
• Prepare and update project schedules, work programmes, and progress reports.
• Manage project budget, costs, variations, and procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Supervise site staff and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), environmental regulations, and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and project meetings to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Review and approve method statements, material submissions, shop drawings, and work procedures.
• Monitor project quality and ensure defects are rectified promptly.
• Manage project documentation, including correspondence, reports, records, and handover documents.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Lead project handover, testing & commissioning, final inspections, and project close-out activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
