Construction Project Manager

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of data center fit-out projects, including white space construction, MEP systems, testing and commissioning, and final handover. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires a hands-on project management professional with strong experience in construction delivery, stakeholder coordination, and mission-critical facilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of data center fit-out projects from construction through commissioning and final handover.
• Oversee white space construction activities and ensure all works are executed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installations to ensure seamless integration across all project disciplines.
• Manage and supervise contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, track key milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, resolve site issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to review project performance, address challenges, and drive project outcomes.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and technical documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, progress claims, change orders, and variation requests to support effective project controls.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and handover activities to ensure operational readiness of mission-critical systems.
• Prepare and present project progress reports, risk assessments, and status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project close-out activities, including documentation review, defect management, client handover, and final account resolution.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-10 years of project management experience within the construction industry, preferably managing data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale fit-out projects.
• Proven experience delivering construction, fit-out, or MEP projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Experience managing data center projects, white space fit-outs, or mission-critical facilities is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of building services and MEP systems, including electrical, mechanical, fire protection, HVAC/ACMV, plumbing, and associated infrastructure.
• Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, risk management, and contract administration.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, testing and commissioning processes, quality assurance, and health and safety requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced construction environments with a strong focus on quality, safety, and project delivery outcomes.
• Must be open to work in a Fixed Term Contract (1 Year).
