We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager who can independently manage and support multiple construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project management from award through successful completion.
- Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, scope of work, project schedules, resource plans, and construction methodologies.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation or recovery plans.
- Conduct project review and coordination meetings and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contract conditions, technical specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Coordinate directly with U.S.-based project management and field teams and take ownership of open items through completion.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of construction/project management experience.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scopes of work.
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
- Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, civil, and MEP construction activities.
- Ability to review drawings and identify scope conflicts, missing information, and potential field issues.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF/Bluebeam-type software.
- AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
- Experience supporting U.S. construction projects is highly preferred.
- Must be organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients and project teams.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a construction-minded Project Manager, not just a documentation coordinator.
The candidate should understand how projects are actually built, be capable of reviewing drawings and specifications, identifying potential issues, coordinating multiple trades, managing project documentation, and independently following tasks through completion.
