Construction Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager director to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse teams, coordinate detailed project schedules, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects that meet all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional leadership skills, and extensive experience in construction management software and technical tools to drive projects forward with precision and enthusiasm. Must have 7 plus years as a project manger.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage project teams including subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal staff to foster collaboration and accountability.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software; monitor progress regularly to meet deadlines.
• Oversee construction budget management, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and controlling project costs effectively.
• Review construction plans, blueprints, and specifications; ensure compliance with all applicable construction regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate procurement activities utilizing Construction estimating tools and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, or equivalent platforms for project documentation, tracking progress, and reporting.
• Conduct site inspections to verify construction quality, safety compliance, and adherence to plans; address issues promptly.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports on schedule status, budget performance, safety incidents, and regulatory compliance for stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings to communicate updates clearly; resolve conflicts efficiently while managing project risks proactively.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large-scale Retail or commercial construction projects with a strong background in construction site operations.
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans.
• Skilled in using construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms for project coordination.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating practices, cost management strategies, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with civil 3D for infrastructure design coordination is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively within a fast-paced environment; excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards ensuring regulatory compliance on all projects.
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately; experience managing complex infrastructure or heavy civil projects is highly desirable.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects simultaneously.
