Construction Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves coordinating all phases of construction, managing teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate construction timelines effectively.
• Manage project budgets by overseeing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and implementing cost control measures utilizing HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools.
• Review construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure clarity and compliance with design intent and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project progression.
• Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance, quality standards, and regulatory adherence; conduct regular site inspections.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes through Procore or Prolog to maintain accurate documentation and accountability.
• Lead project teams by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports, project documentation, and schedules for stakeholders’ review.

Skills

• Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Extensive experience in construction estimating, project scheduling, cost management, and budget oversight.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards (OSHA), and regulatory compliance procedures.
• Proven ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction management environment.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting construction plans & specifications accurately.
• Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Deep understanding of managing complex infrastructure projects within commercial construction settings.
• Effective time management skills coupled with strong leadership qualities to drive project success from start to finish.
