We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager on behalf of a client in the construction industry. The role involves overseeing building projects, managing timelines, budgets, materials, contractors, quality, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, commercially minded, and skilled in negotiation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of building and construction projects from start to completion.
• Develop and monitor project timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules to ensure projects remain on track.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, material requirements, and overall project expenditure.
• Coordinate and manage contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with contractors and suppliers where required.
• Monitor project progress and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure work meets agreed specifications and standards.
• Identify and address project delays, cost overruns, quality concerns, and other potential risks.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, costs, and key issues while ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, construction management, or a similar role.
• Experience overseeing building or construction projects from planning through completion.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project timelines, costing, and materials.
• Proficiency in project management and construction software such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
