Construction Project Manager – Commercial Electrical/MEP

About Us

Texas Electrical Contractors has been doing commercial mechanical, electrical and plumbing work for more than 15 years. We handle projects of every size, from renovations to new construction, and we're known for finishing on time with excellent workmanship. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead our commercial electrical and MEP projects from estimate to closeout.

What You'll Do

• Manage commercial electrical and MEP projects from start to finish, including scope, schedule, budget and closeout
• Prepare accurate estimates, including material takeoffs, labor and equipment costs for change orders
• Read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications and submittals, and catch conflicts before they reach the field
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, inspectors and our field crews
• Track job costs, prepare progress billings and keep projects profitable
• Manage material procurement, submittals, RFIs and project documentation
• Make sure all work follows code, contract requirements and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of the NEC and local El Paso code requirements
• Experience managing electrical contracts, preferably with an electrical subcontractor
• Active electrical journeyman license
• Hands-on experience writing, pricing change orders
• Able to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
• Commercial construction experience on projects such as: Warehouses and distribution facilities, Schools and educational facilities, Commercial buildings, Data centers, Medical facilities
• Strong organization, communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with mechanical and plumbing scopes as well as electrical

Pay: $60,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
