Construction Project Manager – Data Center

Location: Atlanta

Contract: Contingent / Contract

Duration: 6-12 Months

Thor Companies is supporting a major mission-critical data center project and is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the onsite Senior DCCM/PM.

You’ll coordinate multi-trade construction activities across GCs, engineering, design, commissioning, controls, networking and security, helping ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate onsite construction and multiple trade contractors.
• Support project schedule, budget, risk and change-order management.
• Monitor contractor performance, safety and progress.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, commissioning and compliance teams.
• Review design documents, MEP layouts and contractor proposals.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor/procurement tracking and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide continuity and project support to the Senior DCCM/PM.

Technical Experience:

Strong understanding of critical data center infrastructure, including:

Generators | UPS | Switchgear | Transformers | Power Distribution | Chillers | AHUs | CRAH/CRAC | Plumbing | Fire Detection/Suppression

Requirements

• Proven construction PM experience within mission-critical / data center environments .
• Strong MEP knowledge and multi-trade coordination experience.
• Experience managing contractors, schedules, budgets and risks.
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced onsite environment.
