Construction Project Manager

Our client is seeking two experienced Commercial Construction Project Managers in the Temple, TX area to manage complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. These positions are ideal for strong project leaders who can manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while working closely with field leadership to successfully deliver projects.

Advanced manufacturing, data center, mission-critical, or other large-scale technically complex construction experience is highly preferred.

Compensation: $100,000–$140,000 base salary DOE + benefits

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction and planning through final completion and closeout
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and overall project documentation
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Manage subcontractor bidding, selection, contracts, scopes of work, and performance
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other construction documents
• Track project costs, forecasts, commitments, and financial performance
• Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Identify potential schedule, budget, procurement, and constructability issues and develop solutions before they impact the project
• Coordinate with MEP trades and other technical disciplines throughout construction
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide consistent communication regarding project status, milestones, and challenges
• Partner with field leadership to maintain safety, quality, and project delivery standards
• Manage punch list, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities

What You’ll Need to Be Considered:

• Previous Project Manager experience within commercial construction
• Experience managing projects for a General Contractor strongly preferred
• Experience with advanced manufacturing, data centers, mission-critical facilities, or other technically complex commercial/industrial projects is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes from preconstruction through closeout
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and change orders
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination is a significant plus
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
• Strong financial, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
• Ability to work onsite in the Temple, TX area
