Commercial Construction Project Manager

Fort Lauderdale, FL | $120,000–$160,000 + Bonus + Vehicle & Cell Phone Allowance

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join a growing South Florida construction team. This is a high-impact opportunity for a PM who wants to take ownership of significant projects, build strong client relationships, and have a long-term path for growth.

What You’ll Do

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy, constructability, and project requirements
• Prepare General Conditions and establish baseline project schedules
• Track project budgets, costs, forecasting, and overall financial performance
• Manage change orders, RFIs, owner pay applications, submittals, and shop drawings
• Write and execute subcontracts and purchase orders
• Manage subcontractor relationships and performance
• Lead regular jobsite coordination and project meetings
• Maintain strong communication with owners, clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Serve as a leader and mentor to younger team members

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
• Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing, scheduling, drawings, and specifications
• Experience negotiating and managing subcontract agreements
• Experience with CMAR and/or Design-Build delivery methods
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
• Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills
• Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related degree preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Located in or willing to relocate to the Fort Lauderdale/South Florida area
