Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft project, monitoring progress continuously to meet deadlines.
• Manage project budgets by overseeing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and implementing cost control measures to maximize efficiency.
• Review the construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any issues promptly.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, environmental standards, and contractual obligations.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, HeavyBid, or Civil 3D for project documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Lead project teams by providing clear direction, managing performance expectations, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control measures, and safety practices.
• Manage contracts and negotiations with vendors and subcontractors to secure optimal terms while maintaining project integrity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management with a focus public works projects.
• Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid or equivalent software solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project coordination processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and perform accurate construction estimating.
• Solid understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, building codes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately to guide onsite activities.
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively through strong time management skills while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with bluebeam software or similar is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration among stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
