Construction Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of various construction projects while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management principles and a passion for the construction industry.

Responsibilities

· Overseeing and directing Project Engineers through all essential job responsibilities.

· Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution

· Aid in setting up and implementing job procedures to ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material deliveries.

· Review construction plans, submittals, and specifications for compliance with project requirements.

· Collaborate in maintaining and updating project schedules and budgets.

· Develop and maintain a good relationship with Owners, Vendors and Subcontractors.

· Assist in developing value-engineered solutions when applicable.

· Prepare and track submittals, RFIs and project documentation requirements.

· Collaborate on managing potential cost impacts and preparing change orders.

Skills

· 3-4 years of construction experience, preferably in underground wet utilities.

· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or equivalent

· Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Bluebeam.

· Familiarity with reading and interpreting construction documents, plans and specs.

· Knowledge of California Public Works requirements is preferred.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
