Compensation: ~$50.00 to $75.00 per hour, depending on experience, flexible

Position Overview

Beacon Hill is seeking experienced Construction Project Managers to join its R&D Infrastructure Construction team. This group supports the buildout and improvement of Beacon Hill’s manufacturing centers, production facilities, laboratories, office spaces, and factories throughout the Bay Area. Most projects involve large-scale tenant improvements within active technical and industrial environments.

The Construction Project Manager will oversee projects from initial planning through construction, commissioning, and closeout. This individual will manage approximately four to six projects simultaneously while coordinating design, construction, equipment installation, budgets, schedules, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from initial planning through completion
• Coordinate design, construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and project execution
• Oversee schedule and budget for the project
• Manage project documentation, punch lists, approvals, and closeout activities
• Lead weekly project reporting and provide updates to management and stakeholders
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, facilities teams, and end users

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of construction project management experience
• Experience supporting projects in manufacturing, semiconductor, laboratory, pharmaceutical, hospital, data center, utility, industrial, or complex commercial environments
• Experience managing construction projects from initial scope through commissioning and closeout
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Experience coordinating design, construction, equipment installation, and commissioning activities
• Strong construction scheduling experience
• Experience with project budgets, financial controls, cost tracking, and funding requests

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Bluebeam
• Familiarity with boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, pumps, and related mechanical infrastructure
• Experience with equipment procurement, installation, startup, or commissioning
• Familiarity with project controls and cost-loaded schedules
• Experience working in live production or occupied facilities
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
