Job Description

M.L. Meyer Construction & Roofing LLC is seeking an experienced, reliable, and hands-on Construction Project Manager to oversee residential construction, roofing, remodeling, and renovation projects throughout the Milwaukee area.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of construction project management experience and can independently manage 3–5 active projects at a time. This person must be capable of coordinating crews and subcontractors, managing materials and project costs, maintaining schedules, and ensuring each project is completed on time and according to company quality standards.

We are looking for a dependable professional who takes ownership of projects from start to finish, communicates effectively with clients and crews, and can work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3–5 residential construction, roofing, and remodeling projects simultaneously.
• Oversee projects from initial planning through final completion.
• Schedule and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, materials, deliveries, and inspections.
• Conduct regular job-site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Track project timelines, labor costs, material expenses, and budgets.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company quality standards.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and crew members.
• Resolve job-site issues, delays, and scheduling conflicts.
• Monitor crew productivity and hold subcontractors accountable for their work.
• Maintain accurate project records, schedules, photos, and progress reports.
• Identify potential problems early and implement practical solutions.
• Coordinate multiple job sites and adjust schedules as project needs change.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction or project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction, remodeling, roofing, and renovation.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and construction crews.
• Ability to oversee 3–5 projects at a time while maintaining organization and quality.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, ordering materials, and managing project schedules.
• Understanding of labor costs, material expenses, and project budgets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between job sites in the Milwaukee area.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Schedule and Work Environment

• Flexible weekday schedule based on project requirements.
• Workdays may exceed 8 hours depending on project demands.
• Must be available to visit and oversee multiple job sites.
• Requires in-person work throughout the Milwaukee area.
• Must be comfortable managing multiple active projects and adjusting priorities as needed.

Compensation

• Annual Salary: $80,000.
• Commission: Eligible after 90 days, subject to company terms.
• Employment Type: Full-time W-2 employee.
