Job Description

B&R Sales and Leasing is looking for an experienced Construction Manager to

supervise and execute construction projects from planning through completion. This is a

key position for our strategic plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background

in construction management, experience leading a team, and the ability to read and

interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.

This position is based at our facility in Rockford, Michigan, with regular hours Monday

through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. except for occasional travel to job sites and

overtime as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of construction projects.

• Manage project schedules, resources, and workflow.

• Demonstrate excellent time-management skills and dependability.

• Take initiative and step up when needed to support project success.

• Travel to job sites for modular building setup and takedown.

• Conduct regular inspections of completed and ongoing work.

• Implement quality-control measures as necessary.

• Identify and resolve issues or challenges that arise during construction.

• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and according to specifications.

• Maintain inventory of supplies and materials.

• Work closely with our sales department to ensure customer expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 8+ years of construction experience, including experience leading employees.

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the construction

industry.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.

• Experience with framing, drywall, painting, finish trim, windows, light plumbing, and

light electrical work.

• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Willingness to travel to remote job sites as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience
