Construction Project Manager

Project Manager | Heavy Civil Infrastructure | Macon GA or Savannah GA

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to lead large-scale transportation and infrastructure projects? We’re partnering with a well-established contractor seeking a proven leader to oversee heavy civil construction projects including roadway, highway, bridge, and transportation work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Lead field teams, Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and overall performance.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and production activities.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Monitor costs, productivity, and contract compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications:

• 6-10+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• Strong background managing roadway, bridge, highway, or DOT projects.
• Proven experience overseeing project budgets, schedules, and field operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing self-perform crews and subcontractors.
• Proficiency with project scheduling and cost control.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
