Construction Project Manager

Location: Vancouver, BC

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver and take ownership of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and project documentation
• Lead subcontractor procurement, tendering, scope review, bid analysis, and contract awards
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams
• Monitor project financial performance (budget, forecast, cashflow, and cost control)
• Identify and manage project risks, schedule impacts, scope gaps, and potential cost issues
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work to identify conflicts and opportunities
• Manage RFIs, change orders, site instructions, progress claims, and project documentation.
• Work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate construction sequencing, site logistics, quality, and schedule

Skills & experience:

• 6+ years of construction project management experience, preferably with a General Contractor
• Experience with commercial, multi-family residential or industrial construction
• Experience managing projects valued over $30 million
• Proven ability to manage projects from pre-construction through completion
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, project schedules, budgets, and cost control
• Experience with subcontractor procurement, tendering, bid leveling, and contract administration
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building systems, and sequencing

Base salary: $130,000 - $160,000
