Construction Project Manager

Location: DFW, TX – Fort Worth area

I'm working with a well-established General Contractor in the DFW area who is looking to bring on an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing team, with projects primarily based around Fort Worth.

This is a great opportunity to join a GC with a strong portfolio of public sector projects across K-12 education, healthcare and municipal construction.

The Role

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through to completion and handover.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement and overall project delivery.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts and other project documentation.
• Monitor project costs and schedules, identifying and resolving issues to keep projects on track.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, safety requirements and client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a commercial General Contractor.
• Experience managing ground-up and/or renovation commercial construction projects.
• Background in K-12 education, healthcare, municipal or other public sector projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project budgets, scheduling, contracts and subcontractor management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish while maintaining quality, budget and schedule.
