Construction Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced, organized, and results-driven Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee renovation projects involving multiple apartment units in Central Florida, Kissimmee area.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on construction project management experience, preferably in multifamily residential renovations, apartment rehabilitation, or residential remodeling.

This position requires a proactive leader who can successfully manage multiple units simultaneously, coordinate subcontractors and construction crews, maintain project schedules, control costs, and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities for multiple apartment unit renovations from start to completion.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules to ensure timely unit turnovers.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and onsite construction crews.
• Experience managing fast-paced renovation schedules involving multiple units at different stages of completion.
• Manage renovation activities including demolition, framing, drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and finishing work.
• Conduct daily jobsite inspections to monitor workmanship, progress, cleanliness, and safety.
• Ensure construction projects comply with applicable building codes, permit requirements, and safety regulations.
• Review project budgets, material costs, labor expenses, and subcontractor invoices.
• Coordinate material ordering, deliveries, and inventory to prevent construction delays.
• Identify and resolve construction issues, scheduling conflicts, and unforeseen field conditions.
• Maintain detailed project reports, progress updates, punch lists, and completion schedules.
• Communicate regularly with company management, property owners, and property management representatives.
• Conduct final inspections and ensure all punch-list items are completed before unit turnover.
• Maintain accountability for project deadlines, productivity, quality, and overall jobsite performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable construction project management experience — REQUIRED.
• Proven experience managing multiple apartment renovations or residential construction projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and renovation procedures.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and construction crews.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Familiarity with Florida building codes, inspections, and permitting processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple deadlines, and make sound field decisions.
• Proficiency in construction project management software, Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work onsite and travel between assigned project locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with multifamily apartment rehabilitation, tenant improvement projects, or apartment unit turnovers.
• Established relationships with construction subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Experience managing fast-paced renovation schedules involving multiple units at different stages of completion.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
