Construction Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, contractor management, quality control, site safety, and timely project delivery while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and close construction projects within approved timelines and budgets.
• Develop project schedules, work plans, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
• Supervise day-to-day construction activities and coordinate with site engineers, architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and take corrective actions to address delays and operational challenges.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, billing, cash flow, and expenditure control.
• Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services to ensure timely availability.
• Review engineering drawings, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), specifications, and construction documents.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, and project coordination meetings.
• Manage contractors and vendors, evaluate their performance, and resolve site-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, statutory requirements, environmental standards, and labour regulations.
• Prepare and submit project progress reports, budget updates, and management dashboards.
• Manage client expectations, stakeholder communication, and project-related documentation.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snag resolution, handover, and project closure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Master's degree in Construction Management or Project Management will be an added advantage.
• Relevant professional certifications in project management will be preferred.
