Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Amerionix is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction and development projects from initial planning through completion.

Reporting to the Director of Development/Ownership, this role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, vendors, project schedules, budgets, and on-site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established requirements.

The ideal candidate is an organized, solutions-oriented professional who can balance day-to-day project execution with the bigger picture. Strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage project details while holding partners accountable will be essential to success in this role.

What You'll Do

• Project Planning & Execution: Oversee project planning and execution, including reviewing plans, budgets, contracts, and timelines. Manage contracts and subcontractor selection, coordinate daily site activities, and proactively address project risks to ensure construction is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Project & Operational Oversight: Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with established quality and productivity standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, property management, and design teams to resolve issues, monitor work quality, and address delays. Oversee project closeout to ensure all required inspections, documentation, and outstanding work are completed before project completion.
• Procurement & Vendor Management: Manage procurement and vendor relationships by sourcing suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing, coordinating purchase orders and material deliveries, and monitoring lead times. Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards while proactively addressing potential supply delays.
• Financial & Administrative Support: Maintain project budgets, track costs and financial performance, and manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals. Lead project meetings, communicate progress and updates to leadership, maintain accurate project documentation, and coordinate with accounting on month-end close and job costing.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of construction project management experience, preferably in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction contracts, processes, and project execution.
• Proficiency with project management and estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Sage).
• Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, subcontractors, vendors and property management personnel, both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail, building positive working relationships, and holding project partners accountable to established expectations.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to maintain accurate project documentation, reports, schedules, and records.

Additional Experience We Value:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of progressive leadership experience within a construction management function.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• PMP or construction management-related certification.
• Experience building strong working relationships with project partners while maintaining accountability for timelines, budgets, quality, and project requirements.
