Position Overview

SVC is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead projects from planning through completion. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, can oversee daily operations, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will serve as the key point of coordination between field teams, subcontractors, and management while upholding the high standards our clients expect.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from pre-construction through close-out.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and project proposals from drawings and specifications.
• Review construction documents, identify scope gaps, and evaluate project risks before bidding.
• Solicit, review, and compare subcontractor and vendor pricing to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in developing project schedules and procurement plans.
• Evaluate change orders, project costs, and budget impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and inspectors.
• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions, monitor progress, and resolve field issues.
• Capture site photos and provide clear progress reports to management and clients.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Support resource planning, workforce coordination, and material procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction project management and estimating.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, permitting, and project sequencing.
• Experience preparing detailed cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid packages.
• Ability to analyze construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Excellent financial, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (experience with estimating software is preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License- Clean record

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
