Role Description The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing ground-up and renovation projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards. This is a hybrid role based in Daphne, AL, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating contractors and vendors, managing construction schedules, monitoring project budgets and change orders, and ensuring compliance with building codes and company standards. The role also involves reviewing plans and specifications, conducting site inspections, maintaining detailed project documentation, and communicating regularly with internal stakeholders and external partners. The Construction Project Manager will collaborate with asset management and investment teams to align construction activities with overall project and portfolio objectives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Construction Project Management and general Project Management experience.
• Candidates should possess coordination-focused skills, such as Project Coordination and Construction Management.
• Candidates should possess financial and planning skills, including Budgeting and cost control for construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience managing commercial or multifamily construction projects, preferably in the Southeastern United States.
• Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction best practices, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Proficiency in project management and construction scheduling software; strong Excel skills for budgeting and reporting.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
