Construction Project Manager - Commercial

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager specializing in Commercial projects to lead and oversee complex infrastructure developments from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and regulatory compliance will drive project success while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of commercial construction projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate construction activities effectively.
• Manage project budgets by overseeing cost estimates, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost control measures utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and project flow.
• Review construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
• Ensure adherence to all construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or equivalent platforms for documentation, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Oversee construction site activities to ensure quality workmanship, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times.
• Manage project schedules by coordinating construction timelines with teams on-site and adjusting plans as needed for delays or changes.
• Lead project teams by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing guidance on contracts and scope changes, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones for stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects with a strong focus on infrastructure development.
• Proficiency in construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid; experience with Primavera P6 or Primavera is essential.
• Skilled in using construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, or similar platforms for documentation and communication.
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project coordination strategies.
• Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies applicable to commercial projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately; experience with Civil 3D is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams within a fast-paced construction environment; excellent time management skills are critical.
• Familiarity with contracts management and cost control practices to ensure projects stay within budget constraints.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Valid experience in managing complex infrastructure projects from initial planning through completion while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
