Construction Project Manager - Commercial Signage - Remote

Location: Remote (U.S.)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Salary: $85,000 to $100,000 per year

Position Summary

We are hiring a Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial signage projects from sales handoff through design, permitting, installation, and client closeout. You will be the primary client contact and coordinate internal teams, vendors, and field crews to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial signage projects from award through installation and billing
• Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
• Serve as primary client contact: set expectations, give updates, and resolve issues early
• Coordinate design, installation, vendors, and general contractors
• Obtain and track permits, variances, and municipal approvals
• Review shop drawings, material orders, and installation plans
• Process change orders and manage invoicing so billing is accurate and matches contract terms and milestones
• Track project progress and financials; flag delays, cost overruns, and risks early
• Ensure compliance with local codes, brand standards, and safety requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in commercial signage, construction, or a related trade
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in project management, business, or a related field
• Experience managing multiple complex projects, change orders, and project invoicing
• Familiarity with permitting processes and municipal regulations
• Ability to read architectural drawings, site plans, and sign layouts
• Proficiency with project management software (Monday.com, Procore, or similar) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or similar certification
• Experience with CRM systems and collaboration platforms
