  Summary

  The Cnstructin Prject Manager fr Capital Prjects prvides technical and cnstructin prject management supprt services in cnnectin with schl site imprvements, mdificatin f facilities, and new cnstructin prjects. The Cnstructin Prject Manager fr Capital Prjects assists in the preparatin and review f prject plans and specificatins, crdinates, inspects prjects, and prepares all dcumentatin required fr the successful cmpletin f prjects.

  Essential Duties and Respnsibilities

  Review plans, estimate, and schedule wrk assignments n schl site imprvements, mdificatin f facilities, and/r new cnstructin pr

  • jects. ?Assist in the develpment f frmal prject specificatins fr bid purpses and review bid specificatins t assure their thrughness and accuracy in relatin t appr- ved plans. Cnfer with prspective cntractrs and slicit frmal and infrmal bids; slicit and review prp- sals.
  • Review payment requests. Crdinate and submit payment applicatins fr prjects t assure the timely payment f wrk cmpleted accrding t established plicies and pr- cedures. Mnitr and assure timely and apprpriate develpment f prjects and pr- ject schedules. Crdinates site visits and pre-bid, pre-cnstructin cnferences, and attend j- b meetings as required. Assists with pre-qualificatin and p- st-bid requirements. Assists with mnitring cnstructin cntract c- mpliance. Prepare reprts, maintain prject recrds, and ensure cmpliance with current standards, cdes, and- rdinances. Crdinate and maintain cmmunicatin and cperative wrking relatinships with District pers- nnel. Perfrm peridic field visits and prvide prgress rep- rts. Directs and versees the planning, design, cnstructin and delivery f the District’s capital prjects. Mnitrs the status f prjects in prgress t ensure the cst effectiveness and efficiency f perati- ns. versees the preparatin f Actin Items fr the Schl Bard f Directrs’ apprval and versees prfessinal service c- ntracts. Crdinates assigned cnstructin pr- jects and related activities. Develps the annual capital budget and Five-Year Capital Imprvement Cntinuus Impr- vement Plan Mnitrs budget spending against prject sc- pe and estimate. Manages cash accunting against prject apprpriati- n. Implements prper cntrls t ensure integrity thrughut the rganizati- n. Perfrm- ther related duties as assigned.
