What they need
The Wealth Architecture: Exit the Paycheck Cycle and Command an Ownership Stake in a Global Powerhouse
The Opportunity: A Definitive Pivot for the High-Trajectory Leader
For the elite construction professional, the traditional employment model often functions as a "Misalignment Tax" on your talent—where your expertise builds someone else's equity. This is the exception. Our Client is a 100% employee-owned global leader that has discarded the disconnected shareholder model in favor of a culture where every team member is a vested owner. This is not just a role; it is a strategic move to align your professional output with an industry-leading ESOP and the stability of a firm with 70 offices globally.
The Impact: Engineering Excellence on a Global Stage
As the Construction Project Manager – Global Facilities , you aren’t just "managing a schedule"—you are the engine driving high-complexity EPC (Engineer-Procure-Construct) mandates. You will navigate the critical path for world-class projects in Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, and Advanced Manufacturing, transforming vital infrastructure while enjoying the backing of a global family of companies.
The Mandate (Core Responsibilities)
- EPC Strategic Oversight: Command the day-to-day operations of single or multiple high-value projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle from pre-construction to final turnover.
- Operational Control: Drive the Project Execution Plan with clinical precision, including construction quality assurance, safety & health performance, and procurement strategies.
- Revenue & Risk Leadership: Lead project planning, estimating, and cost development. Conduct internal and external risk reviews and collaborate with Legal to safeguard project integrity.
- Client Architecture: Act as the strategic partner for the client, managing relationships and interfacing on all proposal and project-related milestones.
- Contractual Mastery: Negotiate prime contracts, CM agreements, subcontracts, and complex change orders with an eye for organizational ROI.
- Financial Stewardship: Direct project cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and invoicing. Present high-level status reports to internal and external executive management.
- Resource Deployment: Develop staffing plans, mentor field staff (Assistant PMs, Coordinators, and Craft Supervision), and manage community and building trades relationships.
- Site Intelligence: Verify all project permits, oversee materials management, and audit project documentation to ensure flawless recordkeeping and warranty administration.
The Candidate Profile (Key Qualifications)
- Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven Command: Minimum of 7 years of relevant PM experience, specifically within the construction industry.
- Sector Depth: Deep experience on-site or executing program management in aviation, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, or industrial sectors.
- Technical Suite: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialized project management, scheduling, and cost-control software.
- Financial Literacy: A foundational understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required to manage project-level P&L.
- Strategic Mobility: A willingness to travel 40–50% as needed to support a national business footprint.
The ROI: Elite Differentiators (What’s In It For You)
- The Wealth Hook: 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)—your performance directly scales your net worth.
- Financial Floor: A competitive base salary of $155,000 – $165,000.
- Personal Sovereignty: Hybrid work arrangements and a focus on physical/emotional health via on-site workout facilities and meditation rooms.
- Total Wellness: Comprehensive medical/dental/vision, fertility coverage, and a Diabetes Management Program.
- Family-First Culture: Paid Parental, Maternal, and Caregiver leave, ensuring your trajectory at home matches your trajectory at work.
- Future-Proofing: Industry-leading training programs and the ability to move across departments within a global network of 70 offices.
