Construction Project Manager – New Developments

Our client, FANTASTICO GROUP , is a Bulgarian family-owned company founded in 1991, operating a network of 48 supermarkets. Its wider portfolio includes SkyCity Mall, MegaXtreme Bowling, MyChoice and Joy Station. With a focus on contemporary architecture, sustainable solutions and quality execution, the company continues to invest in new retail developments and the modernization of existing sites.

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Construction team and manage capital construction projects from concept to completion to take on the position of

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER – NEW DEVELOPMENTS

Key responsibilities:

• Manage projects for the construction of new retail locations as well as the refurbishment and modernization of existing sites, from planning through handover.
• Plan and control schedules, budgets, resources and milestones; monitor risks and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Coordinate design, technical and tender documentation; organize tendering and selection of contractors and suppliers.
• Liaise and negotiate with designers, construction companies, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Represent the investor on site, monitoring workmanship, scope, timelines, quality and compliance with approved designs.
• Liaise with public authorities and coordinate permits and administrative procedures.
• Conduct regular site visits, manage several projects in parallel and report progress to senior management.

Requirements:

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related technical field.
• 5 years of professional experience in construction, including hands-on construction project management experience.
• Proven skills in budgeting, scheduling, delivery oversight and handling design, technical and tender documentation.
• Knowledge of Bulgarian construction regulations, health and safety requirements and permitting procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD or comparable applications.
• Fluent Bulgarian, working knowledge of English;
