Construction Project Manager (Project Based)

Job Description Summary

This role is an Interior Fit-Out Project Manager responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through final handover, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, safely, and according to quality and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Pre-Construction: Review drawings/specifications, develop schedules and budgets, allocate resources, coordinate with designers/consultants, and secure permits.
• Project Execution: Manage daily site operations, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, schedules, inspections, and coordination meetings.
• Cost & Procurement: Control project costs, manage purchasing and materials, negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors, and handle variations and claims.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure construction meets specifications, quality standards, building codes, safety regulations, and company requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main contact for clients and stakeholders, provide progress updates, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
• Close-Out & Turnover: Oversee testing, commissioning, punch lists, documentation, and final project handover.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related

field.

• ·Candidates with construction management or technical courses are also encouraged to apply.

Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Licensed Engineer or Architect (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in fit-out construction or interior projects.
• Proven experience managing retail, restaurant, office, or commercial fit-outs.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of fit-out construction processes and materials.
• Proficient in project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
• Strong cost control and budgeting capability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Willing to Work at Las Piñas
