Position: Field Project Manager

As we continue to grow our exterior remodeling divisions, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Window, Siding & Exterior Construction Project Manager to join our team.

We are actively expanding our Siding and Window Division and are looking for a qualified Project Manager with hands-on knowledge of exterior construction products and installation methods. The ideal candidate should have experience managing window and door projects involving manufacturers such as Pella, Marvin, and ProVia, along with siding experience that may include LP SmartSide, James Hardie siding and trim products, cedar siding, and vinyl siding.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the repair and replacement of siding, windows, and door projects from initial preparation through final completion. This includes coordinating crews and subcontractors, reviewing project specifications, measurements and material requirements, monitoring installation methods and workmanship, performing quality-control inspections, communicating with homeowners, addressing job-site concerns, and keeping projects organized and on schedule. The position may also involve some roofing, gutters, and other exterior construction work as needed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in siding, windows, doors, interior, exterior remodeling, and general residential construction and must be organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of managing multiple projects and trades simultaneously. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential.

The primary focus of this position is construction management and quality control on large-scale residential exterior projects. The Project Manager will serve as an important link between our customers, crews, subcontractors, Production Department, sales representatives and office staff, ensuring that every project is properly managed from start to finish and meets Shake Guys’ standards for workmanship, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Project Manager Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in window and siding replacement and other remodeling services
• Strong hands-on knowledge of residential window and siding installation practices
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities throughout the day
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise crews and subcontractors
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable inspecting windows and siding from a ladder and by drone
• Working knowledge of job-site safety procedures, OSHA & other construction practices
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to make sound decisions and resolve job-site issues as they arise
• Fluent English required; basic Spanish is a plus but not required
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak construction season and weekends as needed
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Strong work ethic, dependable attitude, and ability to lead by example

Project Manager Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction and quality control of large residential window and siding projects from start through completion
• Supervise crews, subcontractors, and other residential exterior trades
• Visit multiple active job sites each day to monitor workmanship, progress, safety, and project quality
• Serve as the primary job-site contact for homeowners and provide professional project updates throughout the construction process
• Conduct multiple project inspections throughout the day and address installation or construction issues as they arise
• Verify that correct materials and quantities are delivered to each job site
• Coordinate with municipal inspectors and ensure applicable permit and inspection requirements are satisfied
• Maintain accurate daily project notes, photos, progress updates, and other documentation within the company CRM
• Maintain clear communication with customers, the production manager, office staff, sales representatives, subcontractors, and other members of the production team
• Use company-provided drones to document projects with detailed before, during, and after photos of windows, siding and other exterior trades
• Help ensure every project meets Shake Guys’ standards for workmanship, organization, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
