Position Overview

The Construction Project Superintendent leads day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as the on-site leader, coordinating subcontractors, resources, and team members to drive successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Oversee daily jobsite activities and coordinate subcontractors
• Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations

Contract & Scope Management

• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and project scope
• Ensure work aligns with contract requirements

Safety Oversight

• Enforce jobsite safety standards and procedures
• Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities

Planning, Scheduling & Communication

• Track progress, maintain jobsite logs, and report updates
• Identify and escalate issues as needed

Team Leadership

• Mentor field staff and support coordination with Project Managers
• Foster a collaborative and accountable work environment

Documentation

• Complete daily reports, safety documentation, and field records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience, or 10+ years of progressive construction experience
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, including site work, structural systems, and finishes
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, and field documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or scheduling tools is a plus
• OSHA certification and First Aid/CPR preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to lift or move up to 100 lbs
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying job-site conditions
• Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands for tools and equipment
