About the Role

Trust Contracting Company Inc. is looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Construction Purchasing & Project Coordinator to support our construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing, supplier and freight coordination, project organization, and quantity takeoffs from construction drawings using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities for construction projects.
• Review construction drawings and perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
• Use AutoCAD to review drawings and assist with measurements and material quantities.
• Prepare material lists and determine project purchasing requirements.
• Request quotes and communicate with suppliers.
• Place orders and follow up on pricing, availability, and deliveries.
• Coordinate shipments and deliveries with freight companies.
• Organize and track purchases by project.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and project records.
• Address material, quantity, and delivery issues as needed.
• Work with project managers and internal teams to support project requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing, construction, estimating, procurement, or related experience preferred.
• Experience reading construction drawings and performing quantity takeoffs.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
• Construction industry experience is an asset.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

What We Offer

• $40,000–$55,000 per year, based on experience.
• Full-time Monday–Friday position.
