- Verify construction activities and installed systems align with approved IFC drawings, technical specifications, validated submittals, applicable GMP/regulatory standards, and project quality procedures
- Identify, document, and escalate construction non-conformances, deviations, and compliance risks that may impact system integrity, Mechanical Completion readiness, or commissioning and qualification activities
- Verify contractor quality processes and inspection activities are implemented in accordance with project quality requirements
- Provide independent review of contractor quality documentation including inspection records, test reports, and turnover packages
- Serve as the primary quality interface between construction teams, engineering, CQV, contractor quality organizations, and client quality representatives
- Provide regular updates to project leadership on construction quality status, field observations, and emerging compliance risks
Key Responsibilities
- Perform field-based quality oversight across all active construction disciplines; witness selected inspections and testing activities where required
- Verify contractor quality inspections and documentation are completed in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Identify non-conformances or deviations from approved design or specifications; escalate through project governance for resolution
- Review contractor inspection and testing documentation to confirm alignment with project quality requirements
- Maintain detailed records of field quality observations; communicate findings to project leadership in coordination meetings and written reports
- Verify system readiness for Mechanical Completion by confirming required inspections, test records, and quality documentation are complete and traceable
- Support system walkdowns and readiness reviews; identify outstanding quality issues and support punch list verification through closure
- Confirm construction quality documentation required for turnover is complete, traceable, and aligned with project and regulatory requirements
