CONSTRUCTION QUANTITY SURVEYOR

⭐ We’re Hiring: CONSTRUCTION QUANTITY SURVEYOR

We are hiring a Construction Quantity Surveyor to support cost control and subcontractor accounting activities on Construction Sites, reporting to the Construction Contract Engineer.

The role focuses on monitoring subcontractor works, validating quantities and accounts, and detecting deviations from budget, ensuring full compliance with contractual terms, Project documents, and approved site measurements.

You will be responsible for preparing and validating subcontractor accounts, verifying supporting documentation, and contributing to cost reporting and forecast to completion activities, supporting effective financial control of construction works.

This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented Quantity Surveyor with solid site experience, capable of operating in structured EPC/EPCM construction projects and interacting closely with Construction, Engineering, and Contract teams.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Enter and monitor subcontractor executed works in the dedicated Project Database

✔ Prepare Subcontractor accounts in accordance with subcontract conditions

✔ Verify that subcontractor accounts comply with contractual clauses, Project documents, and approved measurements

✔ Ensure all accounting documents are properly approved and supported by drawings, sketches, and technical justification

✔ Coordinate with Discipline Supervisors to ensure quantities and progress are validated

✔ Identify and report any deviations from budget values, before and after execution

✔ Collect estimated quantities to completion

✔ Prepare cost control tabulations and progress data to support reporting and forecasting

Requirements:

✔5 years of experience in quantity surveying, subcontract accounting, or construction cost control

✔ Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on Construction Sites

✔ Solid knowledge of subcontract administration and cost control

✔ Ability to interpret contracts, BOQs, drawings, and Project documentation

✔ Experience working with databases and cost control tools

✔ Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

✔ Ability to work closely with Construction, Contracts, and Engineering teams

✔ Good reporting and documentation skills

✔ Experience in EPC / EPCM or large industrial projects is an advantage

✔ Fluent in English and French.
