Construction Runner / Materials Delivery

Mr. Mike’s Home Repair | Jacksonville, NC

Mr. Mike’s Home Repair is a Christian-owned and operated company serving Jacksonville and the surrounding area. We value honesty, hard work, a good attitude, and treating customers and teammates with respect.

We’re hiring a Construction Runner to keep our technicians and remodelers supplied throughout the day. This is an entry-level position for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable driving between job sites, and familiar with basic construction tools and materials.

What you’ll do

• Pick up orders from Lowe’s and other suppliers.
• Deliver materials, tools, and supplies to job sites.
• Move materials and tools between the shop and job sites as directed.
• Check orders against pickup lists and report missing or incorrect items.
• Communicate with the office and field team about pickups, deliveries, and delays.
• Help keep the shop, vehicles, and materials organized.

What we’re looking for

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• A basic understanding of common tools and building materials.
• The ability to follow directions, keep track of multiple stops, and handle materials carefully.
• A reliable, punctual person who communicates well and is willing to help wherever needed.
• The ability to safely lift and carry construction materials.

Construction experience is helpful, but you do not need to be a skilled tradesperson. This role supports our field crews; trade work is performed only when assigned and supervised.
