Construction Safety Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a Spanish Bilingual Construction Safety Coordinator to oversee and enhance safety protocols across construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, managing occupational health risks, and fostering a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of risk management, construction management software, and compliance management, with hands-on experience in construction site safety. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures aligned with OSHA and NEC standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate occupational health initiatives to promote worker well-being.
• Provide training sessions on EHS protocols, OSHA regulations, and construction management best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and compliance documentation using construction management software.
• Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Stay updated on industry regulations related to risk management, OSHA, NEC, and workers' compensation policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site safety management or related roles with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of risk management, occupational health, workers' compensation, EHS standards, and compliance management.
• Familiarity with NEC standards relevant to construction projects.
• Experience with construction management software and safety compliance tools.
• Strong background in construction management or construction industry experience.
• Excellent communication skills for training and coordinating with diverse teams.
• Ability to analyze complex safety data and implement effective solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour or 40-Hour Construction Safety Certification are highly preferred. This role is essential for maintaining a safe work environment on all construction projects while ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of safety excellence.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
