Construction Safety Officer

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Officer to join our team in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on construction safety experience, strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, and experience working directly on active construction job sites.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct regular safety inspections at active construction sites

* Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies

* Identify unsafe conditions and work practices and recommend corrective actions

* Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee safety training

* Assist with incident and accident investigations

* Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and required documentation

* Communicate safety requirements with project managers, supervisors, and field employees

* Support site-specific safety procedures and requirements

* Promote a strong safety culture across construction projects

Required Qualifications

* 3–5 years of construction safety experience

* Hands-on experience working on active construction job sites

* Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety requirements

* OSHA 30 certification required

* Strong communication and documentation skills

* English communication skills required

* Ability to work on-site at active construction projects

* Ability to work effectively with project managers, supervisors, and field personnel

Preferred Qualifications

* OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification

* CHST certification

* Experience with commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction projects

* Experience conducting incident investigations and preparing safety reports
