Construction Sales & Project Manager

Job Summary

JM Contractor LLC is a growing residential general contracting company based in Nashua, New Hampshire, serving homeowners throughout Southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Our projects include exterior and interior carpentry, painting, window and door replacement, decks, flooring, bathrooms, kitchens, basement renovations, exterior repairs, and complete residential remodeling projects.

We are looking for an experienced, organized, motivated Residential Construction Sales & Project Manager who can help manage projects from the initial customer meeting through final completion.

This is not strictly an office position. We need someone who understands residential construction, is comfortable meeting homeowners, can help sell projects, and can effectively manage crews, subcontractors, schedules, materials, quality, and customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

The Sales & Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Meeting prospective customers at their homes to evaluate projects
• Taking accurate measurements, photos, notes, and determining project requirements
• Helping prepare estimates, proposals, and detailed scopes of work
• Presenting proposals and explaining project details to homeowners
• Following up on outstanding estimates and sales opportunities
• Helping convert qualified leads into signed contracts
• Coordinating project start dates and construction schedules
• Scheduling employees, crews, subcontractors, and different trades
• Coordinating and verifying materials required for each project
• Visiting active jobsites regularly
• Making sure crews understand the approved scope of work
• Monitoring workmanship, progress, cleanliness, and safety
• Communicating project progress and updates to homeowners
• Identifying additional work and properly documenting change orders
• Monitoring labor hours, materials, and project expenses
• Helping keep projects within approved budgets and schedules
• Resolving normal jobsite and customer issues
• Performing progress inspections and final walkthroughs
• Creating punch lists and ensuring outstanding items are completed
• Coordinating project completion and final customer approval
• Working closely with JM Contractor ownership and office staff

Sales Responsibilities

This position includes a strong sales component.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable speaking directly with homeowners, understanding their project needs, explaining construction work clearly, building customer confidence, following up consistently, and helping close projects.

The Sales & Project Manager will be expected to develop strong customer relationships while protecting JM Contractor's pricing, profitability, workmanship standards, and reputation.

We are especially interested in candidates with hands-on knowledge or project management experience involving:

• Residential carpentry
• Exterior trim and PVC/AZEK
• Interior and exterior painting
• Siding and exterior repairs
• Window and door replacement
• Deck construction
• Drywall and interior finishing
• Flooring
• Bathroom remodeling
• Kitchen remodeling
• Basement finishing
• General residential renovations
