Construction Site Engineer

About the role

Construction Site Engineer responsible for supervising and coordinating daily construction activities at the project site, ensuring works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements
• Review and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site supervisors
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved schedule
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and proper workmanship
• Coordinate site measurements, inspections, testing and rectification works
• Identify technical and site issues and provide practical solutions
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, inspection records and progress reports
• Monitor materials delivered to site and ensure they meet project specifications

Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction/site supervision.
• Relevant experience in building, civil, renovation, or related construction projects.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, and safety requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to supervise workers and subcontractors effectively.
• Responsible, organised, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work on construction sites and meet project deadlines.
• Relevant construction certifications or qualifications will be an advantage.
