VACANCY: CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

VAD Construction (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Construction Foreman to join our team in KwaZulu-Natal.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and manage construction teams on site
• Coordinate daily site activities and labour
• Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications and programme
• Monitor workmanship, quality and productivity
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure materials and equipment are available when required
• Conduct daily site inspections and report on progress
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly
• Maintain proper site records, measurements and reports
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
• Liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors, clients and consultants
• Assist with planning, programming and project coordination

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman
• Strong knowledge of building and construction methods
• Experience managing construction teams and subcontractors
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Good understanding of construction quality and health & safety requirements
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Valid driver's licence
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Construction industry experience in residential, commercial or institutional projects will be advantageous
