Construction Site Manager

Newline Property Contractors is a growing construction company, and we’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team.

Working predominantly across the hospitality and leisure sector, we deliver refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance projects across London and the surrounding areas.

With a growing portfolio of projects, we’re looking for a confident, hands-on Site Manager who can take ownership of the day-to-day running of our sites, coordinate trades and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The role will include:

• Day-to-day management of refurbishment and fit-out projects
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
• Monitoring programmes and keeping works on schedule
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
• Overseeing site health & safety and ensuring procedures are followed
• Managing site inductions, records and relevant documentation
• Liaising with the Newline project team, clients and other stakeholders
• Identifying and communicating potential delays, variations or issues
• Coordinating deliveries, materials and site requirements
• Managing snagging through to completion and handover
• Providing regular progress updates, site photographs and reports
• Maintaining a professional, organised and well-managed site

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager
• Commercial refurbishment and fit-out experience desirable
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident managing multiple trades and subcontractors
• Good understanding of construction programmes and sequencing
• Strong knowledge of site health & safety
• A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving
• Professional and confident when dealing with clients
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• First Aid
• Relevant CSCS card
• Own vehicle desirable

Most of our projects are based across London and the surrounding areas, with occasional projects further afield.

Rate: £200+ per day, dependent on experience.
