What they need
About the candidate:
Petro Art Production delivers projects across Europe and we're looking for a hands-on team member to keep them running smoothly. You'll work on active project sites in Portugal, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and beyond, supporting the project team with day-to-day operations, logistics and practical site work.
This isn't typical construction. On our sites, we build themed environments, including artificial rock formations and structures, working with concrete and metal.
What you'll do:
- Support daily operations and assist project teams with hands-on tasks
- Organise site logistics: receiving, distributing and managing materials and equipment
- Monitor stock and supply levels so projects always have what they need
- Operate tools and machinery when required, following safety guidance and procedures
- Assist with equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime
- Depending on the project, carry out machine-operator, spraying and welding work
- Follow instructions from the Foreman and Project Manager and report discrepancies or site issues promptly
- Follow all health and safety rules and help keep work areas clean, organised and safe
- Take part in training and help with the induction of new colleagues
- Suggest practical improvements and help the team solve operational challenges
About the candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in operations, logistics, construction, theming or a related field is an advantage)
- Previous experience in an operational, support, construction, theming or similar role is preferred
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and teamwork
- Basic technical ability and confidence using industry-related tools and equipment
- Valid driving licence
- Willingness to travel and work on project sites across Europe
- English is essential; any additional language is a plus
Eligibility:
We welcome applicants from both EU and non-EU countries.
- EU/EEA/Swiss citizens and anyone who already has the right to live and work in Portugal and travel within the Schengen Area, can apply straight away.
- Non-EU citizens are also welcome to apply. A visa process will be required before starting work.
Nice to have:
- Licences or certificates to operate machinery or site equipment
- Experience with painting work (interior or exterior walls, houses or similar projects)
What we offer:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday plus Saturday per construction site needs
- Attractive net monthly salary and a comprehensive employment package
- Three-month probationary period (normally covering one project)
- All new employees receive training, including induction into company procedures, health and safety, operational tasks and the requirements of their assigned project
- Paid annual leave and insurance in line with legal employment arrangements
- Financial support for meals
- Company-provided work equipment
- Accommodation during project assignments
- Travel costs covered for trips home 2-3 times a year

Pay: 2,000.00€ per month
