Quality Control
Perform regular quality inspections at key construction milestones; verify work meets plans, specifications, and Forge Construction standards before work is covered or accepted
Identify quality deficiencies and direct subcontractors to correct defective work promptly and at no additional cost
Support owner, architect, and third-party inspections; track and follow up on punch list items through final resolution
Subcontractor & Trade Coordination
Coordinate and direct subcontractors and trade foremen on a daily basis; conduct regular coordination meetings to review schedule, manpower, and upcoming work
Monitor subcontractor manpower and productivity; communicate performance concerns to the project manager in a timely manner
Coordinate material deliveries and equipment to ensure trades have resources needed to maintain schedule and productivity
Documentation & Reporting
Complete accurate daily field reports documenting work performed, manpower on site, weather conditions, and any notable events or issues
Photograph and document work in place at key milestones; support RFI and submittal processes in coordination with the project management team
Utilize Procore or equivalent construction management software for daily logs, inspections, and field communication
